Elive 2.3.9 beta released

The Elive Team is proud to announce the release of the beta version 2.3.9
This new version includes:- VIM suite pre-configured with the best plugins and features available, keeping it fast and full featured
- Important fixes in the installer: screen turned blank during installation process fixed, grub bootloader fixes and improvements, fixes on upgrade-mode, configurations are run in a detachable tmux now
- Fix for Thunar that blocked when create a new file
- Bash security fix included

VIM: “We have finally shipped a default configuration for vim full of the best plugins and features, we have put it directly on the user’s home so he can be able to reconfigure it as how wish, we hope you enjoy this selection of the best vim features. Some plugins included: EasyMotion, MRU, tabular, echofunc (shows C function declarations while typing), showmarks, ack, fugitive, syntastic, nerdtree, nerdcommenter, surround, rsi, repeat, multiple-cursors, minimap, special textobjects, visualize html colors directly in the editor, supertab and completions, EFL ctags and autocompletions, gits, undotree, ctrl-p, gitv (gitk for vim), signify, airline with powerline fonts, markdown & preview, special fast and handy hotkeys, a selection of the best colorschemes, and much more!”

Note that this development release doesn’t include yet the proprietary drivers for now (Nvidia/fglrx) but the open-source drivers should detect your hardware and configure your system without problems.
Beta versions are not so optimized as the Stable ones due to debug flags and developer profiles, you can encounter errors and incomplete things, if you want a more polished system try the Stable version instead.
