When I first looked at Elive I thought it looked very interesting, but I did not realize what a surprise I was in for! This Beautiful OS astounded me! I had no words for it! All I thought was this OS, Elive... There is no words for how wonderful it is. I recommend it over any other OS! It competes with the likes of any other system I have ever used! And I have used every other popular OS's out their today. I also feel the need to spread word of it to everyone I know and more!

  • Shared directories: The eagerly awaited feature about Sharing directories is implemented, please try it and give us a feedback in the google group. Features: share your directories and browse/mount remote ones. Special Thanks to LinuxNIT for its applications
  • Samba server implemented
  • New Kernel 2.6.30.8:
    • Improved Wireless support
    • Macbook Wep authentication bug fixed
    • Aufs moved to Aufs2
  • Installer: A good number of important fixes
  • Thunar: Better looking icons for default directories in /home
  • Elive Essence: A new music stream added. We hope you'll like it even more as the first one. It's now called Hybrid of Best Elive Essences It can be found in your Music directory. Try it and enjoy! Thanks again to di.fm for these magnificent streamings!
